With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh Ji (BrahmJi) under the supervision and patronage of Honorable Chancellor, Sant Baba Sarwan Singh Ji and Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dharamjit Singh Parmar, The Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar. In Collaboration with Sarv Kalyan Welfare Society (Regd.) organized an awareness camp at Vill. Dhanoli, Distt Hoshiarpur on 18TH April, 2023.
The aim of this camp was to create awareness regarding Physiotherapy treatment and services among common people and its role in prevention of further damages to the body. Along with that assessment and treatment was also carried out for patients benefit and encouraging them to go for the physiotherapy treatment. More than 55 patients were treated. The charts and flex were used for demonstration and enhance the importance of Physiotherapy in community. Special physiotherapy techniques such as Maitland mobilization, stretching and cupping therapy was also included in treatment services provided by students and faculty of physiotherapy department of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. Apart from physiotherapy services, students also explained about the mode of infections & precautions for communicable diseases. Dr. Daljit Kaur AP & COD and Dr. Jares Sahonta, Assistant Professor and Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor Discipline of Physiotherapy, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Jalandhar were honored with Appreciation award for their immense contribution in conducting the event . This act was appreciated by the villagers and pilgrimages.
